Nexium control for both heartburn and acid reflux.

Nexium Control is a once daily pill containing 20 mg esomeprazole, which is an antifungal medication. It was the first pill on the market in 1999 and is produced in many pharmacies worldwide.

Take one tablet about 1 hour before the expected date of heartburn or before the expected time of upper stomach upset. Do not take more tablets at once.

To reduce the risk of side effects, take every day between 1-3 hours before eating or consuming food.

Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach.

A common side effect of esomeprazole is a bad taste in the mouth. If this occurs, stop taking esomeprazole and see your doctor.

The following table shows the dosage and frequency of Nexium Control.

With regard to frequency, take one tablet every 4 hours at a dose of 20 mg.

Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.

The maximum allowed dose of Nexium Control is 20 mg per day.

The safety and effectiveness of Nexium Control has not been established in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. Nexium Control should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the following ingredients:

  • oleic foods
  • cooked meat and poultry
  • cooked poultry and fish
  • lemon and garlic
  • salmon
  • watermelon
  • sour and sourd
  • black curd

In addition, in patients with known heartburn (including those with reflux disease), other symptoms such as painful, prolonged, and digested stomach may occur. These problems can be reversed with appropriate treatment and dosage adjustments if necessary.

If you are taking esomeprazole as a proton pump inhibitor, tell your doctor before taking this medication.
